Motorcyclist killed, pillion injured in Kulgam mishap | KNO

Kulgam, April 12 (KNO) : A motorcyclist died while his pillion sustained injuries in a road mishap at New Bypass near Nursing College Chatabal in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday afternoon. Report reaching to KNO said that a Motorcyclist identified as Shahrukh Ahmad Shah, son of Fayaz Ahmad Shah of Chattabal and his pillion were injured after a truck (JK03E - 6999) hit the motorcycle (DL7SBX-730) at Chatabal area of Kulgam. Both the injured were taken to district hospital Kulgam where Shahrukh succumbed to injuries. The condition of the pillon is said to be stable and the driver of Truck namely Aashiq Hussain Lone son of Abdul Gani Lone resident of Chowgan Shopian has been arrested. In this regard, a case under FIR No. 46 /2019 has been registered and further investigations taken up, officer added.(KNO)
